Refund policy
RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
All Sales Are Final
Due to the custom, made-to-order, oversized, and fabricated nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind, incorrect measurements supplied by the customer, installation difficulties, or a customer’s decision not to use the product.
Custom, personalized, modified, fabricated-to-order, powder-coated, installed, or special-order products cannot be returned or exchanged.
Approved Return Exceptions
In limited circumstances, Crownforge Iron may approve a return at its discretion. Approval must be obtained before an item is shipped back to us.
To qualify for consideration, the item must be:
• Unused and uninstalled
• Unmodified and undamaged
• In the same condition in which it was delivered
• Returned with all original components and hardware
• Secured in its original packaging or properly strapped to its original pallet
• Accompanied by the receipt or other proof of purchase
Approved discretionary returns are subject to a 40% restocking fee. Original shipping, delivery, installation, customization, fabrication, and processing charges are nonrefundable.
The 40% restocking fee does not apply when Crownforge Iron confirms that the customer received the wrong item or that the product was defective or damaged due to our error.
Requesting a Return
To request return authorization, email info@crownforgeironinc.com. Include:
• Your full name
• Order number
• Reason for the request
• Clear photographs and videos of the complete item
• Photographs of the packaging, pallet, and any claimed damage
Items returned without prior written authorization will not be accepted.
If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions and, when applicable, a return shipping label. The customer is responsible for properly protecting, repackaging, and securing the item for transportation. Large doors, gates, and other freight items must be properly strapped to a suitable pallet.
Unless the return results from a verified defect, shipping damage, or an error by Crownforge Iron, the customer is responsible for return shipping and packaging expenses. Any return-label or freight costs paid by Crownforge Iron may be deducted from the refund.
Damages, Defects, and Incorrect Items
Inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery and before installation. If the packaging or product appears damaged, photograph the shipment, packaging, pallet, and damaged areas. When possible, note visible freight damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt before accepting the shipment.
Contact us immediately at info@crownforgeironinc.com if an item arrives damaged or defective or if you receive the wrong product. We will review the documentation and determine the appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement parts, replacement, or a refund when required.
Do not install, modify, weld, cut, drill, paint, powder coat, or otherwise alter a product that may be damaged or incorrect before contacting us. Altering or installing the product may prevent us from verifying the original condition or processing a carrier claim.
Refunds
If a return is authorized and received, we will inspect the item and notify you whether the refund has been approved. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method, less any applicable 40% restocking fee, return freight, packaging charges, or other nonrefundable costs.
Your bank or credit-card provider may require additional time to process and post the refund.
Exchanges
We do not offer automatic exchanges. Any exchange must receive written approval from Crownforge Iron and may be subject to fabrication costs, shipping charges, price differences, and the 40% restocking fee.
